Stress to De-stress

Is the stress of the daily grind getting at you? Are you fed up with the chores at home and the routine at work? Here's help. You can change the way you feel by just thinking differently. Work on the following tips to help you de-stress.


Start each day with a reminder to get rid of negative thoughts and learn to think more positively. Which are the emotions you would like to feel? Happy, calm, motivated, excited, thrilled? Now,Mental Exercises think back and recollect when you felt these emotions and imagine the scenarios. Remember what you saw, heard and felt and try to relive those feelings. If you repeatedly tell yourself you are stressed, your unconscious mind eventually does as it is told and produces feelings of stress. Instead, reinforce to yourself that you are capable of managing your workload, listing tasks in order of priority and tackling one day at a time and see how differently you feel.

Clear Goals

Set clear and precise goals for everything from your career to your relationships. Write them down and make them specific, measurable, realistic, achievable and timed. Setting goals keeps you focused and excited and stop you from going off at a tangent.

Love Yourself

Find a close friend or confidante with whom you can discuss issues frankly and to use as a sounding board. Choose someone who is not critical and who will support you and help build your confidence. Twice a week, make time to do something you love to calm your mind and put you at peace with the world. For instance, have a pedicure and manicure, visit a spa, watch a movie.
