No More Feeling Tired

Pilates works by stimulating breathing and the body-mind connection, quite like yoga. It is effective for both active and sedentary lifestyles. Pilates encourages you to focus on the body and the movements you create.

C stretch
* Sit upright withNo more feeling tired your back absolutely straight. Imagine you are sitting against a wall.
* Keep the legs slightly apart and the feet flexed. If you have a problem holding you’re back straight, place a small cushion behind the lower back.
* If not comfortable, point the toes or soften your knees a bit.

Exercise to lessen tiredness
* Raise the arms parallel to the floor, till the shoulder level.
* Inhale and start curving your spine as if you are forming the letter C with it. At the same time pull in your stomach and feel the stretch along your spine.
* As you start exhaling, stretch forward without losing the C formation and feel the stretch along the back of the legs.
* Inhale and get back to the starting position. Repeat 3 times. This exercise will instantly energize you.


The Saw
This exercise focuses on the spinal stretch.
* Sit straight with your legs Feeling tiredspread wide, knees touching the ground and feet flexed.
* Arms are stretched out on either side, at shoulder level and parallel to the ground; palms turned down.
* Inhale, as you exhale twist and turn left. Bend your torso forward slightly as you turn so that the right hand swishes across the left toe; as if it were cutting it off.
* Come back to the starting position.
* If you can't bend, just twist to the opposite end as much as you can and come back to the starting position so that your right arm is above your left leg.
* The stomach is pulled in all the time. Keep buttocks on the ground during the entire exercise. Repeat 4 times on each side.
