Juice Diet
Fruit juices are great for health with vitamins galore.
Everyone knows the joy of a fruit juice, especially in summer.

It not only feels fresh and rejuvenating, but is good for health too. Any day better than a cola or an aerated drink which usually have chemicals and empty calories?
Juices are great for health
Let’s see what is in the treasure house of fruits and juices! Citrus fruits and guava have Vitamin C that builds your immunity. Pomegranate juice lowers your cholesterol and blood pressure.
It is good for a runny stomach too, as is apple. On the other hand, most other fruit juices—about 2 glasses had slowly—apart from hydrating you, would relieve you of constipation. But, if you overdo watermelon, mango or citrus juices, you could have the runs! Drinking 8 glasses of water every day is a must for all.

But many of us on the go end up with much less. Juices can be a happy substitute whether had fresh or in the packaged form, the latter only occasionally.
Packaged juices are the next best to the real thing—fresh juice or a whole fruit. Most have some added vitamins to make up for what was lost during pasteurization.

Pick up fruit juices that have pulp. Fruit pulp is great for you as it has fiber.
Do remember that the Vitamin C in all citrus fruits dissolves when exposed to the atmosphere.
Therefore, such juices, even packaged ones, must be had quickly, not left open or

made and kept for lengths of time.
The real thing is clearly better though, because it is fresh, with more goodies and fewer chemicals.
So have a whole fruit when you can. However, fresh fruits in the market could well have residues of pesticides, especially apples and grapes.
So wash them thoroughly before consuming.
Note: Before a juice is made, the pulp would have been extracted in bulk and stored till the next season.
Some chemicals and/or sugar would have been added to keep this stable until it is processed further for juice-making. Therefore, when the label on a packaged juice says something has not been ‘added’, they are referring to only the later process of making the juice.
